Welcomemat has also utilized 15+ years of redemption data to offer additional data-driven marketing solutions at the local level, including perfect match postcards, social media management and growth and digital offerings. Multiple revenue streams allow our franchisees to offer an omnichannel solution for their clients, bringing in a stream of new customers to their doors every month.
How does Welcomemat Services differ from other franchise companies?
How big will my Franchise Territory be?
A single-unit franchise investment provides for a protected territory consisting of contiguous zip-codes making up an approximate population size of around 250,000 to 500,000. Each territory is defined by a minimum of 2,200 average monthly new movers.
How much does it cost to start a Welcomemat franchise?
The estimated required investment for a single, home-based franchise unit ranges between $61,080 to $88,930. This amount includes the franchise fee of $47,000. As with any new business venture, it’s important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your business.
Is the Welcomemat franchise owner operator or can I build out a team?
At Welcomemat, we have some franchise owners who never want employees. They enjoy the autonomy of running their own business for themselves. At the other end of the spectrum, Welcomemat Services has some franchise owners who have offices, staff and multiple territories. The franchise model is built to satisfy the goals of any owner.
Are there ongoing fees paid to the Franchisor?
As with any good franchise system, franchisees are to be required to pay royalties that are to the greater of 6% of gross revenues, or an established flat fee per month. Royalties are designed to provide support for the corporate office so the corporate office can provide support to the franchisees. There may also be monthly fees for administrative or technology services provided. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of procedures, marketing tools, lead generation, training programs, and product and systems upgrades that make our franchisees businesses stronger.
Are there any advertising fees?
Franchisees contribute up to 2% of gross revenues into a brand development fund. Collected funds are used to develop innovative marketing strategies to promote the Welcomemat brand and generate leads for our franchisees both on the national and local levels.
Is financing available?
No, we do not typically offer direct financing to franchisees. We may be able to provide references to qualified financing or lending agencies, on a case-by-case basis.
