Erin Hunter worked for Brian and Michelle Mattingly out of college when the couple’s Welcomemat Services concept was starting to take off. Years later, Hunter returned to the company by starting a Welcomemat Franchise in Charlotte, NC.

“The biggest difference between working for Welcomemat Services then and now is how much the company has grown,” said Hunter. In 2017, Entrepreneur Magazine recognized the company as the top advertising franchise in the country.

Welcomemat Services used the data-driven principles that power their services to rank Hunter’s community of Matthews, NC fifth among America’s Top 25 Best Neighborhoods for Small Businesses. This recognition did not come as a surprise to the B2B Franchise Owner, who noted that the sense of community, walkability and mix of old and new storefronts make Matthews a desirable place to do business.

As a successful B2B Franchise Owner, Hunter works closely with her clients in the Matthews, NC and surrounding area to understand their goals. She believes every small business has a story to share.
