Who is Welcomemat Services looking for to open a franchise?Most of our franchisees have experience in sales, marketing, or business. They enjoy meeting new people and working out in their community. How much will the Welcomemat franchise investment cost me?The estimated required investment for a single, home-based franchise unit ranges between $57,580 and $85,430; this amount includes the franchise fee of $43,500. As with any new business venture, it's important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your new business.
Are there ongoing fees paid to the franchisor?As with any good franchise system, franchisees are to be required to pay royalties that are to the greater of 6% of gross revenues, or an established flat fee per month. Royalties are designed to provide support for the corporate office so the corporate office can provide support to the franchisees. There may also be monthly fees for administrative or technology services provided. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of procedures, marketing tools, training programs, and product and systems upgrades that make our franchisees businesses stronger.
Are there any advertising fees?Franchisees contribute up to 2% of gross revenues into a brand development fund. Collected funds are used to develop innovative marketing strategies to promote the Welcomemat brand and generate leads for our franchisees both on the national and local levels.
Is Financing Available?No, we do not offer direct financing to franchisees. We may be able to provide references to qualified financing or lending agencies, on a case-by-case basis.
Recurring Revenue the foundation for growth?The Welcomemat Services model is a subscription model – meaning our customers subscribe to our franchisees services. Subscription models can create compounding growth that makes for a solid foundation for any business.

1. Welcomemat Webinar
During the introductory webinar with Welcomemat’s CEO, you’ll learn about the history of the brand, where Welcomemat Services fits in the marketplace, and specific information about the franchise. This initial call will help you determine if you want to learn more about the Welcomemat opportunity and next steps are laid out for beginning the Welcomemat discovery process.
2. Discovery Process
The Welcomemat discovery process is designed to give candidates a systematic approach for learning about the Welcomemat Services franchise. The process is designed to help candidates make a well-informed decision about the franchise. During the discovery process candidates will conduct an economic study, territory review, learn about lead gen, marketing, training and support, and, talk to existing Welcomemat franchisees.
3. Award Process
The award process caps off the discovery process, and begins with an invitation to discovery day. If invited to discovery day, candidates meet with key team members, look closely at key systems used to run the business, and gain a clear picture of company culture and brand. An internal award committee then meets, and if an award is passed, the candidate has the opportunity to join our team as a Welcomemat Services franchise owner.
